Overview

Don't be fooled by the name, the YES Basic snowboard is anything but. This versatile twin-shaped board tackles any terrain you throw at it, making it a great choice for all levels, from playful freestyle to confident carving. The CamRock profile combines a healthy dose of rocker in the tip and tail with camber underfoot which provides smooth turn initiation and effortless edge-to-edge transitions, perfect for jibbing and playful maneuvers. The camber section between your feet delivers impressive pop to launch ollies and stomp landings with confidence. The Basic boasts another trick up its sleeve: UnderBite Edges. This unique technology redistributes your weight and input, enhancing your turning ease and edge hold. Carving groomers becomes effortless, and navigating technical terrain feels smooth and controlled. So if you're looking for a high-quality, budget-friendly board that lets you explore the entire mountain without limitations, grab a YES Basic.

YES Basic Snowboard
This is a fantastic all-round board. Super playful but still quite composed. I also have the Optimistic 159 which is much better at handling off-piste stuff, probably because of the greater stiffness.

YES Basic Snowboard (Closeout)
This is my first board. After renting boards the first 4 or 5 times I ever boarded, I finally decided to get my own board. Everyone I talked to said the YES boards were great, the most 'bang for my buck' as someone told me and from what I can tell they were right. I've rented all kinds of boards and this one is better than anything I had tried. First time I took it out I went with some friends who were visiting and had been snowboard instructors for years. They rented what seemed like nice Burton boards but all agreed this YES board was better.

I'm no expert but this board was easy to ride, very responsive, fast and lightweight. We even hit up a bit of powder off the tracks and the board was great. Highly recommended.
