Nike SB Janoski Hyperfeel Skate Shoes Wear Test Review

Your favorite skate shoes just got even betterNike SB revamped the classic Stefan Janoski with their new Hyperfeel Technology.  All excess materials have been stripped out and replaced with a supportive yet flexible Lunarlon insole.  This allows the shoe to provide impact protection in the heel where you need it without hindering board feel under your forefoot.  The insole is very similar to the Koston 3 Hyperfeel insole, but feels slightly thicker and does not have a Zoom Air unit.  Tactics team rider Sean Donnelly thought they felt like a happy medium between the Koston 3 and the Bruin Hyperfeel.

The Janoski Hyperfeel also features an upgraded tongue with elastic bands to provide a comfortably snug fit.  The tongue design is very similar to the Janoski Slip-On but still offers the classic Janoski lace harness for the best of both worlds.

After two weeks of daily abuse, the shoes are holding up nicely.  The rubber and suede on the toe have blended together for a consistently grippy flick.  The suede is looking strong, but the seam at the edge of the toe cap is starting to wear.  Luckily, ripping has been prevented by double stiching and a slight overlap by the quarter-panel.  Sean expects to skate this pair for another two weeks.
