The softer the bushing the smoother the ride, however the harder the bushing the more responsive the ride. This is a true damping system that is placed at the main contact point to the board, which means by adjusting the hardness here it has the most impact in lessening board chatter while still allowing for powerful energy transfer directly to the edges of your board.
