Vans always makes sure to check off all the essential boxes when it comes to creating skateboarding shoes. The Vans Zahba Skate Shoe was designed with sustainability and functionality in mind. The first shoe to introduce Vans' new ImpactWaffle™ technology, enhancing boardfeel and impact protection while the SickStick™ rubber outsole offers maximum grip. Built in a refined low profile, this shoe has a 98% recycled sockliner that adds additional comfort, features a DURACAP™ toecap for added durability, and includes a VR3Cush™ footbed made of at least 50% biobased EVA foam.
ImpactWaffle™ Technology - Focuses on midsole construction for an enhanced board feel and the heel pod insert helps with impact protection. ImpactWaffle™ also features an outsole geometry with an auxetic pattern so that it bends and flexes better and becomes stronger when torqued in any given direction.
VR3Cush™ Footbed - Is made using at least 50% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plants per the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
VR3 Checkerboard Globe Logo - Vans VR3 designation follows strict material guidelines with one or a combination of regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable, and recycled materials making up at least 30% of the product.
Duracap™ - Developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team; reinforcement is provided through rubber underlays in the toebox and ollie-area for lasting durability to save you time and money.
SickStick™ - Taking inspiration from Vans' beloved original gum rubber formula, the SickStick formula is the grippiest and the stickiest gum sole in Vans history. Extensively tested by Vans' team riders, the formula is uniquely calibrated to deliver enhanced grip and durability, and also make a firm bind to the foxing tape, so you can be in complete control of your board.
