Thunder Polished Skateboard Trucks - polished (161)
I skated over 30 years ago, and have just been getting back into it. Back then, I always skated Ventures, and sometimes Indy. I never tried Thunder Trucks. I got these for a 9.5" deck that has a really short wheelbase (widest Ventures are 8.75), and they helped with the wheelbase compared to the Indy's I had. They turn and grind great, but feel very stable. I skate medium loose trucks. Even though I'm a good bit heavier in my older days (185 lbs), the stock bushings feel great. Glad they're making these wider 6.1's.

Asked by James on 5/3/2018
I have a 8.38" deck. What size would be best for this set up? 148's or 149's?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/3/2018
Either truck would work fine but the 149 will be closer to the width of your board and is what we would recommend unless you are considering sizing down below 8.25 on your deck size in the near future.
