Griptape Peels the Paint off the topsheet of dipped boards.

Santa Cruz Classic Dot 8.0 Skateboard Deck

I bought a Matte Finish fully dipped board and the griptape sticks to the paint better than the paint sticks to the wood. What i am saying is that my griptape fell off but has a thick layer of matte topsheet paint attached.

If the grip did not fall off, i would give the deck a 5-star. they make great wood and have a shorter wheelbase for the 8.25 and larger than some of the other brands.
