ProTec Classic Certified EPS Skate Helmet - matte black
I bought the large according to the measurement instructions. The helmet shell fits however the chin strap adjusted to max length is too short. Strange as I do not have a long shaped head. If strap was correct length it would be perfect.

ProTec Classic Certified EPS Skate Helmet - matte black
I bought a Triple Eight helmet but it was the right size/wrong shape. With motorcycle helmets you either have a 'Shoei shaped head' or a 'Bell/AGV shaped head' - Same thing here - I have a ProTec shaped head & the Triple Eight helmets (no matter how big) just doesn't fit me.
This is a very light but solid helmet. The ultra thin baseball cap style helmets might LOOK better but I wouldn't want to take a hit while wearing one. I feel good about this helmet & it has decent ventilation too. The matte black w/grey logos looks badass too. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

Do you know if this helmet fits the same as the pro tec multi-sport (non-certified) helmet? Or does it fit like the non-certified classic skate helmet? My son's head measures 57cm which should be a medium. The size medium multi-sport non-certified fits but the medium non-certified classic skate is too tight.

The EPS Certified helmet will fit even tighter and be less shallow on the top than the classic non-certified helmet. You may want to size up to an XL with the EPS Certified helmet.
