Construction

FLIGHT - FLIGHT decks are stronger, thinner and lighter than a 7-ply. You'll get the feel of it in an hour or two and begin to realize you can do things riding a Flight deck that cannot be done on a 7-ply. Flight decks allow you to extend your limits, because they let you ollie higher, flip faster, do tricks more easily, and they don't break in two like a 7-ply.

All Powell FLIGHT decks are made at their factory located in Santa Barbara, California.

Profile

243 Shape - Mellow nose and tail angles allow for responsive pop and flatter, leveled out flip tricks.

Best deck Ive ever skated

Powell Peralta Retro Black 8.25 Flight 243 Shape Skateboard Deck
Ive been skating for over 10 years. And probably the best deck and heres the reason why. Ive been skating eight because it flips faster for flip, grind tricks. But something about the concave and lateness of the board makes it flip like a smaller board, but you have the space of a bigger board. They talk about this snappy that is not true. Its more of a squishy pop. But dont let that underestimate you because its way more consistent than any other board Ive ever skated. Like because of the squishy. The board is broken in instantly when you start riding, First session, I was landing all my normal tricks, And we fast-forward two months and its exactly the same experience. You will lose that brand new snap that you get on a traditional wooden board but honestly, I definitely prefer this board over that because usually that brand new snap goes away after the first couple sessions and your tricks change a little. If you want something that is consistent every skate sesh. Choose this board. After Skating this board I dont understand why all boards arent like this.
