The look of the 440 harkens back to New Balance's heritage of classic 70's style running shoes, now in a supportive high top. Its C-Cap EVA heel wedge helps to absorb impact without weighing you down, and thanks to its low profile construction, you won't have to compromise on boardfeel. The upper is constructed with dual layers in the high wear areas along with breathable mesh side panels to make the 440 not only comfortable, but extremely functional.

Features
Sole
Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Details
Multi-Layered Toe Cap - Multiple layers adds durability so you can skate your new shoes even longer.
Ndurance® Upper - Coated suede feels and skates like regular suede but is significantly more durable. This equates to 20% longer lifespan for your shoes.
ABZORB+® Insert - A New Balance custom insert with added protection in high-impact areas
C-Cap® Midsole - A compression-molded EVA for superior midsole cushioning and flexibility.

Good looking shoe but weird fit

New Balance Numeric 440H Skate Shoes
These shoes look great (i got the white/black sole pair) but that’s about it. Not very comfy and they have a really weird fit. I got my usual size and they feel really narrow at the toe but also too long to the point where i can feel my heel moving around even when they’re tied tight. On top of that the insole feels like there’s lumps in it & they’re not the most shock absorbing insoles either. Also the suede piece on the toe is already wearing down a lot by the ollie area where it’s stitched and that’s only after 2 seshs. I will say the soles are REALLY grippy but they’re almost too grippy. Makes it hard to adjust ur feet when setting up for tricks. I’ve tried the tiagos and these and both fit weird so maybe numerics just aren’t for me:/

New Balance Numeric 440H Skate Shoes - white/yellow
Over all, the shoe is ok. They fit good, look good, the only problem I had was after two skate sessions they literally started falling apart. I reach out to new balance and they took care of me, only with a coupon for new balance which the shoe fell apart quick so I wasn’t hyped on having to get another pair of new balance. It is what it is. This shoe will skate fine, it will just start unraveling fast.

New Balance Numeric 440H Skate Shoes - black/grey
I really like these shoes. They are light and the sole is grippy. My feet used to hurt when wearing other brands. Not these plus they look cool too This is my second pair so these are tested
