The Proto Synthesis features Never Summer's ground breaking Shockwave Rocker Camber Profile with extra long camber areas for huge pop and stability. The Rocker area is reduced for quicker turn initiation and float. With a 6/10 flex and a Superlight Wood Core, this board sets the standard for all-mountain riding; and now the benchmark has been boosted.
Shock Wave Rocker Camber - More camber than any other snowboard on the market. A smaller Rocker area retains Never Summer's hallmark quick turn initiation and float.
Power Grip Sidecut - Deeper cut towards the tip and tail, to an almost completely straight section in the middle, the sidecut is cut on multiple radii for added control and response in any condition.
NS Superlight Wood Core - Taking their Custom Flight Core even further, Never Summer's Superlight Wood Core blends extremely light wood with durable hardwood for unmatched strength to weight ratio.
Bi-Lite Fiberglass - Delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.
STS Pretensioned Fiberglass - A pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered fiberglass laminate producing a stronger bond. This gives the board unmatched strength and edge hold.
Recluse Web Carbon Layup - Strategically positioned to stiffen the board at the ends for more control, less chatter.
RDS 2 Rubber Damping System - This lightweight system uses three narrower laminated damping layers that provide the perfect combinations of vibration absorption and stability.
Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers - Rubber pads directly below the mounting area that provide optimum vibration absorption and increase high speed stability while reducing foot fatigue.
Perforated Rocker Pad - Perforated to reduce weight, these thin elastomeric pads are strategically located in the midsection of the board to absorb vibrations between the feet.
