Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

IPath Shoes Grasshopper Skate Shoes - dark blue/white
This is my third pair of Ipath Grasshoppers. And I will continue to buy them until Ipath stops making them. Even skating 3X a week, one pair will last me about a year. A little shoegoo needed here or there or a stitch or two, but overall very durable and extremely comfortable. They're not only my skate shoe, but also my casual shoe and my work shoe. Can't imagine they'd make a good trainer though... I only have one complaint, the foot beds. they wear out fast and the fabric peels easy. I swap in some superfeet insoles as soon as I get the shoes. If it wasn't for needing to upgrade the foot beds, I would have given these shoes 5 stars.

IPath Shoes Grasshopper Skate Shoes - dark blue/white
These are great shoes. I love the design and fit. I was riding them in a mini couple of times but had to stop doing so as the material used (hemp) is not durable enough. Def not a sk8shoe! I cant help, I love them:D I wish I had at least one more pair.

IPath Shoes Grasshopper Skate Shoes - dark blue/white
I wouldn't recommend these for skating(trick skating). They get destroyed after one session. They are, however very comfortable, and stylish. If you foot break while longboarding there's no worries, the rubber is pretty tough. I really like them, just not for skating.
