After months of helping the City of Eugene plan the Washington-Jefferson Skatepark + Urban Plaza Grand Opening, Go Skateboarding Day finally arrived. And so did the Eugene community. Thousands of supporters showed up to check out a full day of activities from bike polo to skate lessons to the ceremonial ribbon cutting, which happened to go down on the ribbon at WJ. Neat, right? In addition to all that, Tactics hosted a demo at 3:30 and a competition at 4:00. Congrats to Josh Dulac for winning the 15 & Under Division and Calvin Ngo for taking the top spot in the Open Division. Check out our full gallery below.
