Ride Alter Ego 2017 Snowboard - Wear Test & Review
The 2017 Ride Alter Ego snowboard is more than just your average powder board. The SplitTail gives you the option to unclip for loose surf-style turns or lock it up for a stiff stable ride. The Alter Ego features a directional shape with a positive camber profile maximizing pop and stability at high speeds. The rocker zone on the nose allows you to ride more centered in the powder and reduces fatigue.
Tactics team rider Beau Cummins took the 2017 Ride Alter Ego up to Mt. Bachelor for a wear test and review. Beau had already taken the Alter Ego into the powder previously but he wanted to test how it would handle in the park and on groomers. “Overall the board is SUPER fun, you definitely want to ride more powder on it but you can ride park too.”
