Lakai Flaco Skate Shoes Wear Test Review
If you want a futuristic tech shoe, this probably isn't what you're looking for. If you want a classic looking shoe that skates great and holds up to heavy abuse, the Lakai Flaco might be your next pair. Tactics warehouse crew member, Tim McCoy, loved the quick break in, comfy fit, and natural flick.
The flexible vulcanized construction paired well with Tim's techy ledge style, while the insole provided just enough support without sacrificing board feel. Almost all Tim's tricks involve some sort of flip, so durability is a priority. After three weeks of daily damage, his Flacos still have lots of life. Although the toe cap seam is set back farther than most comparable shoes, the seam has still begun to rip on both sides. However, rubber underlays prevented the hole from going any deeper, and the outsole looks almost untouched. Tim's only complaints were the lack of lace protection and tongue centering loops or bands.
