Go Skateboarding Day 2024
Go Skateboarding Day takes place on June 21, 2024 and always marks the first day of summer. It is a special day for the global skate community to celebrate our love for the wooden toy that brings so much happiness to our lives. We will be hosting events and product giveaways in all of our Pacific Northwest cities.
Go Skateboarding Day was established in 2004 by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) and is all about one thing: getting out there and riding your board.
Go Skateboarding Day wasn't just dreamed up by a boardroom full of suits. It arose from a desire to cultivate the energy and spirit of skateboarding around the world. Local events, demos, and open skate sessions bring skaters of all ages and skill levels together, fostering a sense of community and promoting the joys of skating. So, whether you're a seasoned veteran or a curious newcomer, dust off your board and get ready to celebrate!
