Dickies '67 Collection Pivot Tek Wear Test

Their style has always resonated with skateboarders, but the '67 Collection is the first Dickies line that is specifically designed for skateboarding, and they're pushing it even further this year.  The spring '16 roll out features their new Pivot Tek technology, and a line of Kevlar reinforced pants will be released this fall.  Ever get annoyed by pants that bunch up just below the crotch and restrict movement?  Pivot Tek is designed to provide extra material in key areas to give the pants a more ergonomic fit.

We wanted to see how they felt on board, so we hooked up a group of employees and team riders with the new Twill Pivot Tech Pants to test them out.  Our guys thought that Pivot Tek made the pants more comfortable because they moved naturally with their bodies.  When popping up to a high ledge, they didn't have to worry about the flexibility of their pants holding them back.  The material also has a nice stretch that added to their freedom of movement.  After a few weeks of skating, we found that the durability was comparable to other pants we've tried, so we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Dickies Kevlar Chinos.
