It's a solid block of shock absorbing rubber, 2x Thicker than Ace. I have NO idea why some skaters prefer the cut out Independent logo version over this one- that has like HALF as much ability to stop road vibrations as THESE do.

Everyone always asks me how come my skateboard rides so fast and smooth and feels so good under your feet. It’s because of this right here! not only will it protect your deck and your hardware but it will absorb just enough road vibration to keep you skating longer while providing an eighth of an inch of extra clearance for wheel bite! there’s no reason not to have these on your set up. . . IMHO ????
