Overview

The Sidewinder II longboard trucks from Gullwing are designed to be the best carving trucks you'll ever ride. Featuring Gullwing's revolutionary double stack geometry with premium 89a cone and barrel combo bushings.

Due to the truck's carve-specific design, it is not recommended you use them for downhill skating.

Features

Ride Style

Carving/Cruising - Big California style carves, epic summertime adventures around the neighborhood, and everyday shenanigans are supported with trucks flexible enough to handle a bit of everything. You'll find these trucks often have a higher truck angle because this is what controls the amount of energy required to turn your board. Bigger angles equal big carves and a quick response to your movement. Stock bushings tend to be on the softer side for cruising making these trucks great for everyday use and for beginners alike. Make sure to go with the recommended truck width for your board to give you the best match and the most fun.

Hanger Style

Dual Pivot Hanger - With a dual pivot hanger, you get twice the turn so if you like to carve deep and treat the concrete like your own personal waves, then look into this style. Generally for cruising/carving, dual pivot hangers are fun and will keep you turning.

Bushing Shape

Barrel/Cone - If you like cruising and carving, but also enjoy the thrill of the hill, you need a wide range of motion. With a boardside barrel and roadside cone you'll benefit from both stability and turnability. This the most common stock setup.

Non-Compatible Risers

Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.

Sizing Reference

Note - Every skate truck brand represents their sizing a little differently, so it's easy to get confused. Take a look at this graphic and then reference the size chart.

Details

Dual Kingpin - For the biggest carves, tightest turns, and most surf-like ride, dual kingpin trucks deliver twice the turn of a standard truck.

Gullwing Sidewinder II Longboard Trucks - 10" black
I could not be happier with this purchase! The double bushing design allows carve and take super sharp turns. It is a brilliant contraption that makes it easy to cruise around for fun, but also hit some hills. Would definitely recommend!

Gullwing Sidewinder II Longboard Trucks - 9" silver
If you are on a long board over 40" and mainly on flat surfaces, these are the ONLY trucks you should have. Warning though, every other truck will feel restrictive after using these trucks. Nothing else will do.

Asked by Ben on 6/20/2018
Can these be converted back to a single kingpin?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 6/20/2018
You are able to do so but it is not recommended. Bringing these back down to one king pin creates the kingpin sitting higher than the hanger of the truck and it will not turn nearly as well.

Asked by Hedge14 on 1/24/2018
how can I adjust the trucks. What will happen if i tighten/loosen roadside kingping vs boardside kingpin?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 1/25/2018
The board side axle nuts will loosen the wheels but if you loosen and or tighten the roadside kingpin this will make the trucks either tighter or looser and will effect how easy or hard it is to turn.

How's the handling at higher speeds?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 4/19/2017
The would still hold on but are definitely not made for higher speeds and are made more for a cruising or carving setting and could potentially get speed wabbles easier at higher speeds
