Features

Sole

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Emerica OG-1 Skate Shoes
One of my favorite skate shoes.
Felt like less wiggle room in the most recent colorway I bought. Not sure if it was Soletech trying to fix the sizing issue some ppl had or if the tongue straps were set tighter/lower than they were on my other pairs. Came with the standard perf insole, but I was hoping it came with the thicker solid foam insole the tan/navy/yellow colorway had when I got it. I think it's the only colorway that came with it and not sure if they did it again for that colorway's rerelease this year.
Anyway, it's that 90s skate shoe that brings back nostalgic vibes and keeps my feet feeling good when I pushing around. Very comfortable with crew socks since that padded collar will irritate your skin if you wear low/no show socks. I highly recommend but I do suggest that you go to your local skate shop to try before you buy.
