The GORE-TEX® insert with Gore Warm technology and Hi Loft synthetic insulation keeps your hands warm and dry by pushing the water and sweat out, and keeping the heat in, even if you're coated with powder. The Rubbertec palm gives you extra grip, and the zipper stash pocket can hold your keys or a hand warmer. There's also a removable liner that has 4-way stretch fleece and is touch screen compatible. Rubbertec Explained - A polyester substrate with a polymer based high grip surface treatment applied to it. In addition to being waterproof, it has excellent abrasion resistance for long lasting durability.

Good mitts but liners don’t work with touch screens

The actual mittens are very nice, warm, and seem to be of good quality. But the liners do not work on the screen of my Apple Watch (despite having the index finger and thumb tips made of a different, presumably “special” material), which was a major reason for purchasing. The liners of my old mitts worked with my Apple Watch 95% of the time despite not being advertised as “touch screen compatible” like these are. I had to order different liners separately that actually work with touchscreens.
