Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Material Tech

Rubber Backing - Added durability thanks to the rubber backed upper material, the rubber layer is applied to the back of the outer material to enhance durability and extend the life of the upper, these shoes are tough.

Details

Cons Traction Rubber - Converse maintains their iconic outsole and has updated their classic Converse vulcanized rubber compound to increase board traction for today's skateboarder and offers 70% increased griptape traction.

CX Foam Sockliner - This highly absorbent CX foam made from molded polyurethane (PU) provides comfort and cushioning that will keep its shape and never pack-out giving you lasting protection.

Converse Pro Leather Vulcanized Pro Skate Shoes
Street wise: I wrapped the heel section in duck tape to provide support because these shoes aren't the most comfortable in the heel area and caused a wound after 4 days of wear.

They were more comfy for me to ride around in while on my skateboard than for walking.

In terms of skating, they're just fine for cruising.
The grip tape will be slowly but surely sawed off if you attempt to perform any feats that call for scraping it; the laces have already came off, but that's relatively common. I don't doubt that I'll develop an ollie hole within the following four days.

sincere review; definitely not a robot; actual person.

Converse Pro Leather Vulcanized Pro Skate Shoes
I bought the fuzzy green DialTone edition of these shoes and was instantly impressed. Out of the box comfortable and they feel great. I usually swap out insoles on Vulcan but these were perfect and I was surprised. Insane support all the way around the shoe. The soles are holding up well too. No grip tape hole on the bottom of my front foot so I’m stoked. I hope Converse keeps this shoe in its line-up forever in whatever color. Buying the black and white ones next.

Converse Pro Leather Vulcanized Pro Skate Shoes - (dial tone wheel co) vintage jade/cool jade
Comfortable and oozing with drip. Elastic tongue band holds everything in place. Rubber backed leather. The woolly suede has a nice vintage look. The fit is nice. I’m typically an 11 and wear 10.5 in Chucks but the 11 fit right for me in these.

How is the fitment of these shoes? Are they true to size or do they run big like most cons? Thanks guys!
Answered by Chet R (Tactics Employee) on 4/17/2023
Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. These shoes have a thicker construction so they run true to size as opposed to big like most models!
