Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Material Tech

Rubber Backing - Added durability thanks to the rubber backed upper material, the rubber layer is applied to the back of the outer material to enhance durability and extend the life of the upper, these shoes are tough.

Details

Cons Traction Rubber - Converse maintains their iconic outsole and has updated their classic Converse vulcanized rubber compound to increase board traction for today's skateboarder and offers 70% increased griptape traction.

CX Foam Sockliner - This highly absorbent CX foam made from molded polyurethane (PU) provides comfort and cushioning that will keep its shape and never pack-out giving you lasting protection.

Zoom Air Bag Heel - Nike Zoom technology combines pressurized air with internal fibers to deliver highly responsive cushioning that springs back fast for maximum impact protection.

Rubber Underlay at Ollie Area - Added durability thanks to the .8mm layer of rubber right where you need it most

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pro Skate Shoes - (suede) black/black/white
Stands the test of time! They don’t ever wear out……a little magic eraser cleans them up to almost new. I purchase them about every 2 years and only because I am attending a special occasion….then I have a back-up. Since the quality of material is so good they always look good. Hard to beat!

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pro Skate Shoes - (suede) black/black/white
Stands the test of time! Quality is terrific, long lasting, always in style. Never had another pair of shoes that doesn’t seem to ever wear out. Last purchase was almost 2 years ago just to look good with a sports coat and new slacks. I’m still keeping my old ones!

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pro Skate Shoes - sunflower gold/white/sunflower
Bought these after having a different pair in white, the CTS Pro. The fit is fantastic and these look sharp and the padding on the tongue makes them feel luxurious. I did have to return my first pair due to size even though I bought 1/2 size smaller based on recommendation (thanks for the shipping refund, Tactics.) I would say buy a full size smaller than what you wear as these run big.

Asked by Eric D on 12/24/2016
I had the Trapasso Pro II before and a 9.5 was slightly too big, do you think since it had the chuck sole, a 9 would be perfect in these?
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 12/29/2016
That sounds about right. I generally wear a 9.5 in skate shoes, but skate in 8.5's for chucks. I might recommend trying a whole size down from the shoe size you wear in most other brands.

Asked by Justin on 6/5/2016
I'm interested in buying a new pair suede chucks. Is the fit true to the size or should I buy them a half size smaller like the old chucks before Nike bought them?
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 6/6/2016
A half size smaller is perfect. Had to do the same with mine. Even though they are manufactured by Nike they go off relatively similar blueprints for the shoe.

Asked by Andre on 4/30/2016
How's the sizing on these compared to the Pappalardo's? I used to wear a size 11 in those while I normally wear a size 12 in other shoes.
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 5/17/2016
Chuck Taylors are traditionally a longer fit. I usually wear a 10 in other shoes and I wear a 9 in these. They have a long and narrow fit though so if you like your shoes to have room for width don't get something too small.

Asked by D on 10/5/2013
So if I normally wear a 13 should I order a 12 ?
Answered by Kayla P (Tactics Employee) on 10/24/2013
You should usually go a half size down in Converse

Asked by Mo on 7/31/2013
How's the sizing of these? Do they run larger like most Converse usually do?
Answered on 8/14/2013
no, they are sized like most converse are sized. for example, if you normally wear a 9 in most shoes, you would wear an 8.5 in this shoe.
