The Burton Throwback snowboard is a re-issue of the 1981 Burton Backhill. This board is essentially a piece of history that you can ride in your backyard. Burton encourages you to consult your resort before riding their hill, as this board isn't designed for hardpack or icy conditions.
V-Rocker Profile - Continuous rocker between your feet and in front of your feet towards the tip and tail creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park. Frostbite Edges enhance power and grip, balancing the board's overall loose and forgiving feel.
Fly® 900g Core - Burton's classic tip to tail wood core, the 900g model utilizes the best of two wood species to lighten the load by 10% without sacrificing flex, pop or strength.
FSC™ Certified - Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™ C124994) certified. The FSC™ is an independent non-profit that promotes environmentally sound management of forests.
Biax Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, low torsional flex and forgiving, park friendly feel.
Extruded Base - Speed, strength, and graphical pop in a base that requires little maintenance. Pass your friends without even waxing.
Super Sap® Epoxy - Resin formulated with bio-based materials, reducing the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
1 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 1 year from the time of purchase. Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.
Sorry folks, but bashing your board on a rock or rail does not qualify as a "manufacturer's defect" and will not be honored.
