My face gets very cold snowboarding, so I always wear a neoprene mask. This is much warmer, lighter and dryer under my helmet. My husband and 9 ear old feel the same way about their "Snoods" (snow hoods)!

BlackStrap makes darn good BALACLAVA's. Dual layers in the face to keep you warm, thin on the head to regulate temperature under your helmet. The material drys fast after wet over your lunch break. As some people have said it can get cold when worn in colder conditions but a heavy Clava from BS is a better choice in these conditions. When worn with a helmet this preforms great.
