Overview

This revamp of Busenitz's legendary vulc shoe retains the same classic silhouette, but is packed full of updated performance features. The outsole has been updated to the team-favorite GeoFlex tread to give the shoe flexibility, and lasting grip in all directions. The abrasion resistant one piece upper is reinforced with an AdiTUFF underlay to extend the life of the shoe even after breaking through the upper. Inside the shoe is an AdiPRENE sock liner for comfort and impact absorption, and the collar has the beloved GeoFit® lining to make these extra comfy all day long.

Features

Sole

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Details

ADIPRENE® - ADIPRENE® is soft EVA injected cushioning placed under the heel to soak up impacts and soften landings.

ADITUFF™ - ADITUFF™ technology uses a rubber-backed material in the toe box which delivers abrasion resistance, extending the life of the shoe.

GEOFIT® Collar Lining - GEOFIT® enhances fit and comfort by placing soft padding in areas that need support. You'll feel a snug fit with increased comfort.

Geoflex Outsole - Geoflex is an innovative tread pattern that provides superior grip and unmatched flex resulting in greater control and board feel.

Heel Stabilizer - An external heel support provides additional medial stability.

High Abrasion Suede - Durable material dramatically increases life span of the upper.

Molded TPU Heel Clip - For heel lockdown and increased support.

One Piece Toe - Having the toe box made of one piece means there are no crucial seams to tear which translates to the durability and longevity of your shoes.

Recessed Eyelets - Recessed eyelets on the first rows give you added lace protection, so you can skate more and lace less.

Adidas Busenitz Vulc II Skate Shoes - silver pebble/carbon/gold metallic
For over 20 years I’ve primarily skated cup soles via sole tech. I’m on the wider side of your average foot width. Not wide enough to go for a wide shoe but I definitely can’t wear anything on the narrow side. I was a little concerned after ordering these seeing everyone saying to size up. I figured that meant they’re narrow. But they fit true to size and they immediately fit my feet with that broken in feeling. Outside of skateboarding I only wear Adidas, but I’ve never considered their skate shoes as an option because they always looked like soccer shoes, which isn’t my taste in style. These have a clean classic skate style so I figured let me give them a shot since I trust the brand everywhere else in my life. I’m not disappointed. These are awesome and so far after around a month of skating them, are pretty durable. They’re very solid at the sides for a vulc. Idk what kinda magic they used but it’s like they have a midsole. They aren’t getting blown out like vulc shoes usually do for me. I wouldn’t go jumping down big gaps on them. But there’s no concern of your foot rolling through the side of the shoe. Final thing I’ll give them praise on is the venting. I ride a motorcycle and have vented boots. These flow air like those do. I’ve never felt that on a skate shoe before. So yeah.. I’m done gloating about them. Go them yourself. They might be my favorite skate shoe ever. Sorry 90’s Accel.

This shoe is notorious with being the best “already broke in” shoe in the game.

Adidas Busenitz Vulc II Skate Shoes - core black/footwear white
I've had my eyes on these since they first dropped and finally got them a week ago. I had a mini skate session in them and they felt great right out the box. I use them primarily for weightlifting and they're nice and padded around the ankle and I can feel my board/ground very well. Only thing I'd recommend is going half a size down if you want a more snug fit.

Adidas Busenitz Vulc II Skate Shoes
I’ve had countless skate shoes in my skate-historia. Started using adidas almost exclusively this past year. Have not found a brand that compares skate-wise. I’ve tried a lot of their models. Including every single different version of their busenitz line. The og cupsoles, the revamped thinner “vintage” (also cupsoles) and finally, these bad boys right here. The vulc II’s. The only vulcanized one. Not as protective as the OG’s but honestly not far behind the vintage’s. Board feel is what shines with these shoes, only maybe outshined by it’s INSANE durability. Truly unbelievable how long these guys last. No holes. No broken laces. No opened/split seams. I literally skated them for 1-4 hours like 6 days a week for 3 maybe even 4 months. I finally had to stop using them once I wore down the tread smooth and it became dangerous to keep using for skating. The best version of the best model-set from the best brand. Did I mention they’re the champs aesthetically speaking as well? GET SUED NOT LEATHER. BUYYYY A HALFFFF SIZE UPPPP (I’m normally a 10, for these I wear 10 1/2 US men’s). Forget the rest. Get the best. Love always, killer P-love aka, the “Lil” homie gi’bro-ney u already know me….. sucka. PACE
